Inquiry

WALA: the Waitangi Wetlands. In our Inquiry groups we had to research an animal, plant or insect. We had to find out if the Waitangi Wetlands is a good place for it to live and grow. 

We also had to create a way of showing our learning. Here is a video of how we presented our findings.

Story writing

WALT: write narrative stories. In a narrative story we have been learning to add detail to our character, create a picture of the setting and the character in the reader's mind and give detail of what happens in the beginning, middle and end.

Handwriting

I am learning to do cursive letters so that when I begin linking my letters, they will join nicely and neatly together. 

Next Step: to correctly link letters.

This Term we are learning all about being RESPONSIBLE. We have been learning different ways we can be responsible at home and at school. In this activity are just some ways of how I show responsibility.
